BANDURA HANGOUTS

A virtual bandura workshop

What is 'Bandura Hangouts'?

Bandura Camps for 2020 were forced to close due to the Covid19 outbreak and its fallout. 'Bandura Hangouts' was an online program made to help young bandurists stay engaged with the music and with each other. Participants of the Bandura Hangouts were able to participate in the following:

  • Live workshops with instructors experienced in teaching bandura and voice, with a high instructor–student ratio

  • Video tutorials on topics like bandura maintenance, tuning and regulating

  • Bandura learning materials and sheet music

  • Lectures and demonstrations on bandura music topics

HOW IT WORKed

Registrants joined workshop events through the 'Schedule' page. They attended whatever lessons, listening sessions, or discussion groups you like! The lessons took place on Mondays and Thursdays.
 

The lessons were held in classes of levels corresponding to bandura-playing ability.
